Universities & Colleges
Loveland is home to the Colorado State University (CSU) Continuing Education Loveland Learning Center, and is located 12 miles from CSU’s main campus in Fort Collins. CSU is one of the premier research institutions in the nation, with annual research expenditures of more than $308 million.
Front Range Community College (FRCC) offers a Center for Adult Learning in Loveland, and its main campus is located in nearby Fort Collins. FRCC is a two-year college offering 27 associate degrees and 20 accredited programs at several campuses along the Front Range and in Northern Colorado. It is the largest community college in the state.
Aims Community College has a full-service satellite campus in Old Town Loveland. Programs are offered mornings, nights and weekends and range from an Associate of Arts Degree to an Associate of General Studies Degree.
Loveland’s location along the Interstate 25 corridor and Highway 287 makes getting to and from the city a breeze. City of Loveland Transit (COLT) offers local bus service, making public transportation an easy and affordable way to get around town. FLEX provides regional bus service from Fort Collins to Longmont with stops along the way in Loveland and Berthoud.
In addition, the Fort Collins-Loveland Regional Airport serves an important role in providing private aircrafts with easy access in and out of Northern Colorado.
